T-Bar and Mace were unmasked on Raw as the final vestiges of RETRIBUTION seem to be coming to an end on WWE television.
The two stars were formerly part of the RETRIBUTION group led by Mustafa Ali. The group also included Reckoning and Slapjack, the former Mia Yim and Shane Thorne respectively. RETRIBUTION fell apart after weeks of Ali berating other members of the group for losing matches. This caused T-Bar and Mace to double chokeslam Ali after he lost a match against Riddle for the WWE United States Championship.
In recent weeks T-Bar and Mace have come to the aid of MVP, hinting that they could be set to join The Hurt Business. The Hurt Business also recently lost some members when Lashley kicked Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander out of the group. They first attacked Drew McIntyre who is the number one contender to Bobby Lashley’s WWE Championship. They floored the Scotsman with a double chokeslam while MVP looked on.
T-Bar And Mace Defeated The Former Champions
On Raw McIntyre was after retribution of his own on T-Bar and Mace and faced them in a handicap match. McIntyre won this match via disqualification as the pair double-teamed McIntyre This led to Braun Strowman running out to make the save for the number one contender. Strowman and McIntyre then teamed up immediately making the match a tag team affair. McIntyre and Strowman were disqualified when they unmasked T-Bar and Mace and McIntyre struck T-Bar several times with the mask.
An interview following the events on Raw then aired on WWE.com. T-Bar and Mace hinted that they could be returning to their previous ring names of Dominik Dijakovic and Dio Maddin. Dijakovic previously competed in NXT where he engaged in an epic feud with Keith Lee. Maddin was previously a commentator on Raw during Paul Heyman’s time as Executive Director of the red brand.
