Surprising Names Absent From WWE Clash At The Castle Rundown

roman reigns vs drew mcintyre clash at the castle

WWE Clash At The Castle is less than an hour away but as per the internal rundown, a trio of surprising names haven’t made the trip over to Cardiff.

WWE’s biggest premium live event since SummerSlam 1992 is almost ready to get underway, with Clash At The Castle set to air live from Cardiff, Wales’ Principality Stadium. Headlining the night is Roman Reigns defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre, but he may be going into the fight alone.

Per Fightful Select, The Usos and Paul Heyman aren’t listed on the internal rundown. Of course, they could still be in attendance, so nothing is confirmed until Roman Reigns makes his entrance.

The Usos’ absence, in particular, is surprising. Jimmy and Jey have been with Roman as of late so if they do fail to accompany Roman Reigns to the ring, questions may be raised. The reigning Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions were last seen on Friday’s pre-taped SmackDown.

Paul Heyman’s status is slightly more intriguing. He hasn’t been seen since SummerSlam, where he took an F5 through the announce desk from Brock Lesnar, taking a lengthy period away from television to sell the injuries. It was noted previously that he was listed in the promo photos for the event, though plans may have changed.

Clash At The Castle begins at 6pm BST, airing live on the WWE Network and Peacock.
