A major movie star had once considered a career in wrestling instead of Hollywood.

The usual career path for a Superstar is to become a household name in the ring before leaving to be a star of the big screen. The Rock, John Cena and Batista are now some of the most recognisable names in Tinseltown following their respective careers in WWE.

Stand up comedian and Hollywood megastar Kevin Hart could reverse the traditional method, trying professional wrestling after establishing himself as a big screen star.

Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair was recently a guest on Hart’s YouTube show Cold As Balls. As Hart welcomed The EST onto the set, the Jumanji star revealed that the company have been very generous with providing him with guests for the show. The comedian then revealed that at on point in his life he did think about coming a star of the squared circle:

“WWE have shown be a lot of love, a lot of wrestlers coming on here. I don’t know if you know this or not but I thought about wrestling at one point, they [WWE] can probably feel it in my blood because we share a lot of the same synergy”

With multiple stars from the entertainment world having impressive matches at Premium Live Events, Hart would tough competition from those that have competed before him. With crossover stars such as Logan Paul and Bad Bunny each having highly praised debut matches at WrestleMania, the bar has been set higher for big names wanting to have their in-ring moment.

While Kevin Hart’s in-ring ability is unknown, the movie star is a natural on the microphone. A lengthy career in performing comedy live would give Hart a crucial advantage in cutting promos and dealing with the unpredictability of a live wrestling crowd.

Hart was recently a part of both nights of WrestleMania 39. The star of Central Intelligence provided the cold open for the record breaking show.
