Superstar number four has qualified for the NXT North American Title Ladder Match at Halloween Havoc leaving just one spot remaining.
On the October 4th edition of NXT Von Wagner took on Andre Chase in a bid to secure a spot at Halloween Havoc. Following a short bout it was Wagner who scored the win.
Von Wagner will now take his place alongside former Champion Carmelo Hayes, Wes Lee and Oro Mensah.
The identity of the final competitor in the Ladder Match will be decided on October 11th when Nathan Frazer meets Axiom in the last match in their best of three series.
After Wagner picked up the win, Wes Lee launched himself across the announce desk to attack Carmelo Hayes who had been sitting in on commentary.
The match at Halloween Havoc was made after Shawn Michaels stripped Solo Sikoa of the North American Title back on September 20th, just one week after he won the gold. Carmelo Hayes had been due to defend the title against Wes Lee on the show, but he and Trick Williams took out the star before the match could even take place.
Sikoa took it upon himself to get involved and won the title, only for HBK to declare that the win didn’t count as it came in an unsanctioned match, thus declaring the title vacant.
Elsewhere at Halloween Havoc Bron Breakker will defend his NXT Championship against Ilja Dragunov and JD McDonagh.
