Super Asia Championship Returning at ChocoPro #100

ChocoPro have announced the return of the Gatoh Move singles title, the Super Asia Championship, for day two of ChocoPro #100.

The belt was officially established in September 2017, with AEW star Riho as its first holder, following an eight woman single elimination tournament.

Riho held the belt for 620 days and made eight title defenses, before relinquishing the title in June 2019 ahead of her link up with All Elite.

The title has been held in abeyance since that time, however this is all set to change on day two of the ChocoPro #100 special event.

It has been officially announced that the main event of day two would pit the ‘Ace’ of ChocoPro, Baliyan Akki against respected freelancer Minoru Fujita, who also happens to be the current BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Champion, with the Super Asia Championship on the line.

Akki, who has been one of the breakout stars of ChocoPro, tweeted his surprise at the news:

The pair will get a chance to test eachother prior to this however, as they’ll be on opposing teams on day one of the event, where Akki and his Best Bros tag team partner Mei Suruga will defend their Asia Dream Tag Team Championships against Fujita and ChocoPro mastermind Emi Sakura.

ChocoPro #100 will air for free on Gatoh Move’s YouTube channel, airing on March 27th and 28th at 1am GMT.
