Sudden Title Change At WWE Money In The Bank; Star Publicly Humiliated

WWE Money in the Bank 2025

The WWE Universe witnessed an unexpected title change at Money in the Bank.

When it comes to WWE Money in the Bank, most of the focus is on the two respective ladder matches. However, the 2025 edition also saw a major title on the line, and tonight at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California, it changed hands.

Lyra Valkyria put the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against her former mentor turned arch-nemesis, Becky Lynch. The match had a major stipulation, as The Man wouldn’t be allowed to challenge Valkyria for the title ever again if she lost.

However, fortunately for her, that was not the case tonight. With her hands on Valkyria’s tights, Becky Lynch managed to cheat her way to victory, kicking off her first reign as the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion in questionable fashion.

It was a huge victory for Lynch, to say the least. However, things didn’t end there, as she looked to rub salt in Valkryia’s very fresh wound.

Becky Lynch forced Lyra Valkyria to raise her hand up at Money in the Bank

As mentioned earlier, one of the stipulations for the match was that Becky Lynch would never be able to challenge Lyra Valkyria for the title if she lost, but what would happen if she won? Well, it was decided long before their match at Money in the Bank.

A few weeks ago, Lynch made it clear, if she won, Valkyria would have to raise her hand in the middle of the ring. Unfortunately, much to Valkyria’s displeasure, she had to do just that tonight. It was incredibly humiliating, but she did get a little bit of respite, as she laid out The Man shortly after.
