Street Profits Beat New Day In Barnstormer at Survivor Series

Street Profits

The Street Profits defeated The New Day at Survivor Series in an absolute barnstormer of a contest, with the SmackDown Tag Team Champions pulling out all the stops to defeat one of the most decorated teams in WWE history.

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins – who have held the RAW, SmackDown and NXT Tag Team Championships – would defeat Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, who were flanked by the third member of The New Day, Big E, for the first time since being split in the WWE Draft.

The iconic trio made their way to the ring wearing armour suits to promote their upcoming Gears of War appearance, with Big E holding Woods and Kingston’s RAW Tag Team Championships. The Street Profits then cut a promo backstage after performing their own rendition of Undertaker’s theme tune on the 30th anniversary of The Deadman’s WWE debut.

Once all four men were in the ring, though, it was down to business and what emerged was undoubtedly one of WWE’s best tag team matches of the year – with The Street Profits coming out with the win with Montez Ford hitting Kingston with a Trouble in Paradise during the match, and The Street Profits winning with a Doomsday Blockbuster.
