Sting Was In Constant Contact With Darby Allin During Everest Climb: “So, What Is Next?”

Darby Allin Compares Top AEW Star To Sting:

AEW legend Sting recently spoke about Darby Allin’s achievement and gave a wild suggestion on what he should do next.

Darby Allin recently created history when he climbed Mount Everest, becoming the first wrestler to do so. His ascent to the tallest peak in the world was filled with some iconic moments, such as him performing a kickflip at 20,958 feet, which helped him set a world record.

Darby also immortalised AEW by planting their flag, and also created a memorable moment when he did Diamond Dallas Page’s iconic gesture at the summit.

Sting Shares His Thoughts About Darby Allin’s Achievement And Gives Wild Suggestion

Sting, who was Allin’s tag team partner before his retirement, was asked for his thoughts on the 32-year-old’s achievement in a recent interview by Denise Salcedo.

Sting said that he always believed that if anyone could pull it off, it was Darby Allin. The wrestling legend stated that he was in constant contact with Allin and that the AEW star had sent him a video from the top of the world. He also suggested that the daredevil should try going to space next:

Well, I mean I’m not surprised that he made it there and back, although anything can happen on that mountain. Darby Allin, if anyone can do it, Darby Allin is going to pull it off for sure. He was in contact with me the whole trip. He was up there, he gave me a video of him at the top of the mountain, which I’m not going to say anything about quite yet, but yeah, he didn’t have any oxygen on when he gave me that and but he showed me a panoramic view from the very top of the world and it was just like crystal clear it looked like he was you know snow skiing or something but no this is way beyond that obviously. So, what is next for Darby Allin? Who knows man space, the final frontier.”
