A new report has shed light on the condition of WWE Hall Of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin before he returns to WWE at WrestleMania 38.
Stone Cold Steve Austin will be returning to the ring at WrestleMania 38 in his home state of Texas as a guest of Kevin Owens on The Kevin Owens Show. While initial reports suggested Austin could be returning for a match, he has been advertised for the talk show segment but Austin himself promised one last can of whoop-ass for Owens in an incredible video package.
Speaking on the Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast, Dave Meltzer commented on Austin’s condition ahead of his appearance and says he thinks it’ll be more than just a quick kick and Stunner:
“He and I happen to have a mutual friend who just saw him and he told me he’s in fantastic shape. So I mean he might take his shirt off. There’s gonna be a fight. There’s gonna be a brawl, without a doubt.”
“It’s not just gonna be just a kick in the gut and Stunner. He’s training very hard so it’s gonna be more than that. Will he do a 20-minute match? No, I don’t think so. Will he go 7 minutes or something and have a brawl all over the place? I kind of expect that, yeah.”
Another recent report has indicated that the segment featuring Stone Cold Steve Austin could well headline Night 1 of the two-night spectacular.
