Steve Austin’s appearance at WrestleMania 41 was not without incident.
Making a cameo appearance for the first time in 3 years, The Texas Rattlesnake appeared just before the main event to announce the attendance for the night and for the weekend. However, it was Austin’s entrance that caused the segment to hit the headlines.
Riding his ATV down the ramp and around the ring, Austin crashed the vehicle into the barrier while doing laps. Colliding with the barricade, a fan was knocked back into their seat. After Austin announced the attendance for night 2 was 63,226 and for the whole weekend was 124,693, the former World Champion went over to the fan, who was already speaking with WWE President Nick Khan.
At the time of writing, it is unknown whether the fan suffered any injuries as a result of the collision. However, on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez noted that those within the company are “nervous” about what happened.
Steve Austin Appears At Both Nights Of WrestleMania
This was the second time Austin appeared in front of the Las Vegas fans over Mania weekend. On night 1, the Hall of Famer appeared alongside Bret Hart and the other inductees on the entrance ramp as their WrestleMania 13 match received the award for the first-ever “Immortal Moment” at the 2025 ceremony.
Austin did not get physical at the event with no involvement in any of the matches or delivering any Stunners in his night 2 appearance. In an interview ahead of the show, Steve Austin spoke out on the possibility of having one more match.
