Stephanie Vaquer was shockingly dethroned on the recent NXT episode, a WWE star breaks their silence on the matter.
Jacy Jayne pulled a major upset on the May 27, 2025, episode of WWE NXT by defeating Stephanie Vaquer for the brand’s Women’s Championship. However, she did have some help from fellow Fatal Influence members Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx.
Following her win, the new NXT Women’s Champion sent a strong message on X/Twitter by warning everybody who doubted her to never do so again.
“To everyone who ever doubted me, called me the third wheel, said I’d never make it… HAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!! Never doubt me again.”

Jacy’s current title reign marks the first time she has won a singles gold in the company, as she already previously held the Women’s Tag Team Championship with Gigi Dolin twice.
Meanwhile, Stephanie’s recent title run lasted for 77 days and marked the second time she won singles gold in the brand.
Stephanie Vaquer Is Set To Be In Action At A WWE Cross-Promotion Event
From the looks of it, the former champion won’t have too much time to regroup as she will be in action again next week for a special WWE and AAA show.
As recently announced by NXT General Manager on this week’s show, Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice will team up to take on Dalys and Chik Tormenta at Worlds Collide on June 7 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
Four matches are already set for Worlds Collide. Other bouts in the card include Legado Del Fantasma vs El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown, Chad Gable vs El Hijo del Vikingo, and Ethan Page vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Laredo Kid vs. Rey Fenix for the North American Championship.
