Stephanie McMahon has provided an update on the health of her husband Triple H, while also revealing that their eldest daughter has started wrestling training.

Speaking to talkSPORT at an event to celebrate the extending of the global partnership between WWE and the Special Olympics, Stephanie McMahon gave an update on the health of her husband Triple H.

On the 8th of September 2021, WWE confirmed that Triple H, also known as Paul Levesque, had undergone a successful procedure after what an official statement from the company called a “cardiac event.”

Triple H has been absent from WWE since, as he recovered at home. However, he was recently pictured back at WWE headquarters.

Stephanie said that Triple was “doing great” before recalling some of her favourite moments performing with The Rock, as Survivor Series marked the 25th anniversary of his debut.

McMahon recalled slapping The Great One at WrestleMania 31, fearing she had actually laid her blow in a little too well.

“I have lots of fun memories on screen with The Rock. I think I slapped him the hardest I’ve ever slapped him at WrestleMania 31 at Levi’s Stadium.

“It was a good one, it was a good one. It felt like I laid it in [laughs]. I was almost like ‘oooh, that was a little too hard!’

“But then he brought in Ronda Rousey and ultimately she broke my arm and everything so ultimately, he got back at me,” McMahon said with a beaming smile.

“Always fun going back and forth doing promos with The Rock. He always won, of course, but that’s alright,”

Away from the ring, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H have three daughters aged 15, 13 and 11. In light of the fact that both Stephanie and her brother took their first steps into the wrestling industry at a young age, she was asked whether a fourth generation of the McMahon family might soon be joining the family business.

Interestingly, McMahon revealed that the couple’s eldest daughter has already started training in the ring.

“We have three daughters, Triple H and I do, they are 15, 13 and 11. Our oldest said when she was eight years old ‘Momma, I don’t want your job. Daddy, I don’t want your job. I want Pop’s [Vince McMahon] job.

“So, just like her grandfather, she wants to be the boss so we’ll see what happens, with my oldest daughter who has already started training in the ring.

“My youngest daughter is also very interested but she is all about the personality [laughs]. Oh my goodness, I can’t wait to see what she is going to do.”

Despite spending much of the last two decades on WWE television, Stephanie McMahon hasn’t been a regular on-screen character since 2019. Meanwhile, it has been reported that Triple H’s in-ring career is over as a result of his recent health issues.
