Stephanie McMahon Reveals Which WWE Star Inspires Her

WWE’s Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon has revealed the identity of the WWE star she sees as an inspiration.

Posting on social media, McMahon singled out the ‘baddest woman on the planet’ Ronda Rousey for special praise.

McMahon commended Rousey for her being an advocate for equality and being “unapologetically herself.”

“The baddest woman on the planet @RondaRousey inspires me. 1st American woman to medal in Judo at Olympics, changed the face of MMA, advocates for mental health & equality, & most importantly, is unapologetically herself.”

Stephanie McMahon and Ronda Rousey famously clashed even before the former MMA star had even signed with WWE. At WrestleMania 31 during a segment between The Rock, McMahon and Triple H, The Great One invited Rousey into the ring. This led to a heated confrontation between the two, which ended with Rousey teasing locking McMahon in her signature Armbar.

After arriving in WWE at the 2018 Royal Rumble, Rousey made her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34 where she stood across the squared circle from non other than Stephanie McMahon. Rousey along with Kurt Angle defeated Triple H and McMahon after submitting the former Women’s Champion with an Armbar.

Ronda Rousey stepped away from WWE following her appearance in the main event of WrestleMania 35. At the time, the former UFC star explained that she was taking time away as she and Travis Browne were trying for a baby.

On June 29th Rousey and Browne announced that they were expecting a baby girl.

The former UFC star recently courted controversy on social media, branding some WWE fans “ungrateful idiots.” The comments came after fans on a recent episode of RAW chanted for the newly released Bray Wyatt.
