Stephanie McMahon Recognised As One Of The Most Powerful Women In Sports

WWE’s Chief Brand Officer and ‘Billion Dollar Princess’ Stephanie McMahon, has been recognised as one of the Most Powerful Women in Sports.

The award was bestowed upon her by Adweek, who ranked Stephanie in their list of thirty one women who have influenced sports and sports entertainment in various roles from athletics, league commissioners and executives to name just a few.

Also included in the list were Lisa Baird the Commissioner of the National Women’s Soccer League, Doris Burke who serves as an ESPN broadcaster and tennis sensation Naomi Osaka.

Stephanie McMahon took to Twitter in order to express her thanks and delight at being included on the list among such prestigious names:

“There has been so much momentum around #womeninsports in 2020. I can’t wait to see it grow into 2021 and beyond! I’m honored to be included among such an amazing group for this year’s Most Powerful Women in Sports list. Thank you @Adweel and congratulations to all the honorees!”

Stephanie wasn’t the only one that took to social media in order to comment on the achievement. WWE’s official Twitter account also noted the honour, saying:

“@WWE Chief Brand Officer @StephMcMahon has been named to @Adweek’s Most Powerful Women in Sports List! This list honors women who found ways to influence, innovate and raise the bar for their brands and for fans at a time when the world needed sports most. Congratulations Steph!”
