Start Date For WWE Money In The Bank Qualifiers Confirmed

The Miz hold Money In The Bank briefcase

On July 1st, 2023, WWE will hold Money In The Bank outside of the United States for the first time.

The popular event is set to be held at the 02 Arena in London, as WWE hopes to recreate the success of their most recent UK-based Premium Live Event, Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales.

It has now been announced that qualifiers for the men’s and women’s Ladder Matches will begin on the May 29th episode of Raw, although there is no word on which Superstars will be involved.

Money In The Bank has become a staple of WWE’s Premium Live Event calendar since becoming a standalone show in 2010. The match that gave the show its name debuted at WrestleMania 21 and was won by Edge.

The 2022 edition of the event was held in Las Vegas, with Austin Theory winning the men’s Ladder Match while Liv Morgan was triumphant in the women’s match. Morgan famously cashed in her contract that very night to win the SmackDown Women’s Title from Ronda Rousey.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions To Be Decided

It has already been announced that a Fatal-Four-Way Match will also be held on the same episode to crown new Women’s Tag Team Champions. The Titles were recently declared vacant following an injury to Liv Morgan. The star is believed to have sustained a shoulder injury during a recent title defence against Dakota Kai and Bayley. It has since been revealed that Dakota Kai also suffered a serious injury during the same match.

On Raw, Shayna Baszler & Ronda Rousey will take on Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green, Bayley & IYO SKY, and Raquel Rodriguez and her new partner Shotzi.
