Since returning to WWE at Extreme Rules Bray Wyatt is yet to wrestle an official match. However, that doesn’t mean that he has been sat idly in the background.
Wyatt has cut a series of promos where he is attempting to move on from his violent past, but that past seemingly won’t let go. Each time the star attempts move towards the light, the mysterious Uncle Howdy appears on the big screen to remind Wyatt and fans of the monster he used to be.
In recent weeks this has become intertwined with Wyatt’s issues with LA Knight. The former Universal Champion laid out Knight in an interview segment before attempting to apologise. However, Knight was left laying backstage by an unknown assailant, although a number of clues are seemingly linking the attack back to Wyatt.
LA Knight Says Working With Bray Wyatt Presents A New Challenge
During a recent interview with Yahoo Entertainment, LA Knight discussed what it was like to work with someone like Bray Wyatt.
“Working with Wyatt is a unique challenge in the sense that you’ve got two diametrically opposed personalities. You have two very different approaches to what we do and in a strange way, it almost brings together a beautiful symphony so to speak, just because of the contrasting way we do things. At the same time, those contrasting pieces can mesh together into something that’s pretty creatively satisfying and so far so good.”
During the conversation, Knight also discussed his run in NXT after signing with WWE in 2021. Knight previously had a short spell with the company which ended at least in part to a poor relationship with former coach Bill Demott.
“NXT was a fun and wild ride,” LA Knight said with a laugh. “Obviously this was my second time around. The first time, I butted heads with the former head coach, but now coming back this time around, it was just a better understanding of each other and who I was and who I was working with I guess to some degree. This time things were just streamlined and it made the process in NXT really good and flourish creatively if you will!”
On the December 12th edition of Monday Night Raw WWE gave the clearest hint yet that Bray Wyatt could be recruiting Alexa Bliss once again. After earning a shot at Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Bliss set her up for a Sister Abigail before walking away.
