Stadium Stampede Match Announced For AEW Double Or Nothing

AEW Double Or Nothing

The Stadium Stampede Match is set to return to AEW Double or Nothing for the second time ever.

As tensions between The Pinnacle and The Inner Circle show no sign of subsiding the two factions will clash in Stadium Stampede at Double or Nothing on May 30th.

The two teams may have gone to war in the first ever Blood and Guts Match, but the rivalry is far from over. While The Pinnacle emerged victorious from a blood-soaked contest, Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle didn’t take the defeat lying down.

On the most recent episode of Dynamite, The Pinnacle celebrated their most recent success in the ring, much to the chagrin of the crowd. However, The Inner Circle minus Santana, appeared in a truck through the crowd. Chris Jericho with his elbow heavily strapped, was initially hidden before making a surprise appearance from the trailer. After MJF turned down repeated offers of a rematch, Sammy Guevara fired a ‘little bit of the bubbly’ endorsed cannon soaking The Pinnacle.

A dishevelled MJF finally granted a rematch in a Stadium Stampede, adding that if The Inner Circle lose, they must break-up.

The inaugural Stadium Stampede Match took place at the 2020 edition of Double or Nothing and saw The Elite defeat The Inner Circle.

Also announced for the May 30th spectacular, Kenny Omega will defend his AEW World Title against PAC and Orange Cassidy.

In addition, Cody Rhodes will take on Anthony Ogogo and Hikaru Shida will defend her Women’s World Title against Brit Baker.
