Spoiler On Unexpected WWE Plans For Logan Paul

Triple H and Logan Paul chat at WWE WrestleMania 41

WWE SummerSlam is set to take place in just over a week, with a big milestone performance by Logan Paul. The social media star is set for a big homecoming appearance, and now WWE’s creative team has seemingly decided what’s next for Paul.

The inaugural two-night SummerSlam will see The Maverick team up with Drew McIntyre to battle Randy Orton and Jelly Roll in the big celebrity match of the weekend. Tonight’s SmackDown will air live from the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. This will be a homecoming of sorts for Paul, who is from nearby Westlake.

Paul hosts his successful IMPAULSIVE podcast, and early in his WWE career, he hosted a segment called IMPAULSIVE TV. The RAW edition on July 25, 2022, saw Maryse, The Miz, and Tommaso Ciampa team up on Logan, while the segment during the red brand on March 20, 2023, saw Seth Rollins receive a sucker-punch.

IMPAULSIVE TV is set to return to WWE storylines. WrestleVotes reported that an in-ring IMPAULSIVE TV segment was planned for tonight’s SmackDown episode in Cleveland. There’s no word yet on Paul’s guests, but WWE previously confirmed Orton, Jelly Roll, and McIntyre for the blue brand.

WWE Hypes SmackDown Celebrity Segment

WWE has not confirmed the return of IMPAULSIVE TV for tonight’s SmackDown as of this writing, but they previously confirmed Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, and Jelly Roll for the show.

The official SmackDown preview for tonight touts the homecoming for The Maverick.

“Logan Paul will return home to Cleveland on Friday, but Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton and Jelly Roll will also be live in Paul’s hometown as well. Paul is getting ready to team with Drew McIntyre against Randy Orton and Jelly Roll in an epic SummerSlam tag bout. Will The Maverick receive a welcome homecoming or will Orton and Jelly Roll cause trouble for Paul? Don’t miss Paul’s return, Friday on SmackDown at 8 ET/7 CT on USA,” reads the official SmackDown preview.

Jelly Roll, Paul, Orton, and McIntyre are also confirmed for the final SmackDown before SummerSlam. The go-home episode is set for next Friday, August 1, from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
