This week’s SmackDown saw a huge return – as Sonya Deville was reinstated as a WWE Superstar!
Following an ad break, cameras cut to Deville walking through a corridor at Tropicana Field where the WWE ThunderDome is residing, turning the heads of several WWE Superstars – including Billie Kay seemingly pitching her resume to the Knights of the Lone Wolf, Intercontinental Champion Big E, Tamina, The Riott Squad and others.

Sonya Deville was last seen on WWE TV at SummerSlam in August, where the former Fire & Desire member would come up short in a Loser Leaves WWE Match to Mandy Rose, with the match being switched from a Hair vs Hair Match on the SmackDown before.
That very same week, Deville would be subject to a horrific personal ordeal as a man entered her home seemingly with the aim of kidnapping her. The perpetrator was arrested and charged with aggravated stalking, armed burglary of a dwelling, attempted armed kidnapping, and criminal mischief.
There has been no storyline explanation for Deville’s return as of yet, with Corey Graves simply saying the former MMA fighter has been “reinstated” to SmackDown in his commentary.
