Sonya Deville and Natalya have earned their way back into the Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament.
After Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons were pulled from their first round match in the Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament on SmackDown, Toxic Attraction got an opportunity on the main roster in their place.
Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne took on Natalya and Sonya Deville in the first round and were able to pickup the victory to advance to the next round. However, they were also pulled from the tournament after Dolin picked up an injury, later confirmed to be a concussion.
It has since been reported that the injury has put pay to immediate main roster plans for the pair.
As a result a second chance Fatal-Four-Way Match was set for SmackDown with the winners advancing to the semi-finals. All of the beaten teams to date entered the bout but the match was over in short order.
With Dana Brooke preparing to hit a super-plex to the outside on Nikki A.S.H, Sonya Deville quietly tagged herself in. Deville waited for Brooke to hit the move which took out every woman in the match before rolling Nikki A.S.H. back in the ring to score the win.
Sonya Deville and Natalya will now face Raquel Rodriguez in the semi-finals.
