WWE Superstar Sonya Deville is now a married woman.
The former SmackDown General Manager wed her partner Toni Cassano in an “intimate” ceremony on February 10th at The Legacy Castle in New Jersey.
The couple, who announced their engagement last year, exchanged their vows in front of 140 guests including several of Deville’s WWE colleagues such as Charlotte Flair, Andrade, Bayley, Montez Ford, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green, Mandy Rose, Vic Joseph and McKenzie Mitchell were all in attendance.
The ceremony was officiated by television presenter Maria Menounos while People magazine were on hand to document the wedding. The media outlet posted exclusive photos of the ceremony along with the words:
Daria Berenato and Toni Cassano have officially tied the knot! 💍 The WWE star and her fitness model fiancée said “I do” on Feb. 10 at The Legacy Castle in New Jersey — a sprawling venue that the brides joke was ironically quite big for their “intimate” ceremony — surrounded by 140 of their closest family and friends. Speaking to People, Deville revealed how important it was to have Menounos officiate the wedding.
That was one element that was really special to me. Maria and her husband Keven [Undergaro] have been a huge part of my life,” she said. “They’re the reason I’m in the WWE — they introduced me to that whole world. They were my mentors back when I was 20 years old bartending in Los Angeles, so they’ve been with me the entire ride.
When will Sonya Deville be back in WWE?
Deville has been out of action since she suffered a torn ACL, which has sidelined her since August 2023. She had just won the first championship of her career when she teamed with Chelsea Green to become the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
While there isn’t a clear date regarding her return, there were rumours that she may have been one of the surprise entrants in the Women’s Royal Rumble, but that failed to materialise.
