According to PWInsider, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose are scheduled to be deposed in the ongoing lawsuit against the former’s alleged stalker.

As per the report, the court case is due to see Mandy Rose – real name Amanda Saccomanno – deposed on February 3, 2021, alongside the accused (February 25) and several of the police officers (February 18) who attended the scene. All will take to the stand via Zoom as per the requirements set by the current worldwide pandemic.

Sonya Deville – real name Daria Berenato – will be deposed on February 13, again via Zoom, to give further evidence against the man who allegedly attempted to abduct her from her home.

On August 16, 2020, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose – who was staying with her friend – were woken by the star’s home security system to find the accused in Deville’s house equipped with rope and other utilities that would assist in a kidnapping.

Thankfully, both women were able to flee the scene in a car and call the police who arrived at the home to find the perpetrator still present awaiting his victim. Law enforcement arrested him on charges of Aggravated Stalking, Armed Burglary of a Dwelling, Attempted Armed Kidnapping, and Criminal Mischief.

Upon his arrest, it was discovered that the individual was the same who had been pestering Berenato on social media for several years with proposals of marriage as well as other messages of a romantic, personal and threatening nature.

At time of writing, the accused is facing life imprisonment but invoked his fifth amendment to remain silent.

Following the harrowing incident, Deville took time away from WWE television to deal with the matter personally and emotionally, falling in a Loser Leaves WWE Match at SummerSlam to best friend Rose.

On the January 1 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, the talent made her return to the company and was immediately reinstated to the roster.
