Son Of John Cena's Former WWE Rival Wants To Face Him On His Retirement Tour

The son of one of John Cena’s former rivals has spoken about how they “would love” to wrestle him as part of his 2025 retirement tour.

As John Cena prepares to close the curtain on his legendary wrestling career in 2025, fans and fellow wrestlers alike are eagerly speculating on what his final year in WWE will entail. With the wrestling world buzzing about potential opponents for Cena’s retirement tour, Zilla Fatu, son of the late WWE star Umaga, has expressed his desire to be a part of Cena’s farewell run. Speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Zilla Fatu revealed his admiration for Cena and his hopes of stepping into the ring with the 16-time world champion before he hangs up his jorts.

I have met John Cena before, plenty of times. I would love to wrestle John Cena. Who wouldn’t? Just to have the bragging rights to say you wrestled John Cena. I think that’s dope. I don’t care if I, well, nah, I do care if I win. But he’s a legend, definitely a Hall of Famer. So, I would love to put him on my resume, for sure.

Cena has a storied history with members of the Anoa’i family, having faced some of wrestling’s biggest Samoan stars, including The Rock and, more recently, Solo Sikoa. Cena’s rivalry with Zilla’s father, Umaga, was especially memorable. In early 2007, Cena faced Umaga in two back-to-back pay-per-view events, famously ending the Samoan Bulldozer’s undefeated streak.
