Solo Sikoa defeated Jacob Fatu and Night of Champions to become the new United States Champion. He dethroned a former member of his family for not aligning with his ways. Sikoa’s reign was short-lived on SmackDown this month when Sami Zayn switched brands in a shocking move and won the title from him.
Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa shared common interests when they were in The Bloodline together in 2022. Although The Enforcer was not fazed by Zayn’s comical antics in the faction.
Solo Sikoa was anointed the Tribal Heir by Roman Reigns and was destined to take over his spot. However, a betrayal led to The Bloodline’s breakup.
Solo Sikoa Reaches Out To A Dark Place After US Title Loss On WWE SmackDown
On the latest edition of SmackDown, Solo Sikoa delivered a dark promo in a vignette that aired during the show. He talked about the sacrifices made during the course of his career, including the loss of The Bloodline and the Ula Fala.
“Do you know what I had to sacrifice to get that championship in my hands, Sami? I’ve sacrificed love, loyalty, my own flesh and blood, just to prove what, huh? Just to prove what? For everything to be taken out of my hands? I’ve lost my Bloodline, I’ve lost the Ula Fala, and I’ve lost my United States Championship. Change is going to happen, and it is going to happen sooner than later because I am going to lead this family, and I am going to take back what I lost. I have been living in the shadow of others for way too long. It is time for others to live in the shadow of me and My Family Tree.” (00:03 – 1:13)
