The shocking WWE return of Bray Wyatt at the end of Extreme Rules has led to a mass reaction on social media.
Bray Wyatt is the White Rabbit.
Unveiled as being responsible for the mysterious teases and QR codes over the past month, the former Fiend reemerged in WWE at the conclusion of 8 October’s Extreme Rules premium live event. As was to be expected, the audience – both those in attendance and those watching from home – went ballistic for his long-awaited comeback.
Numerous fans and wrestling personalities have commented on Bray Wyatt’s return on social media, with one fan noting that their young daughter had stayed up all night just to see Wyatt. This resulted in Bray’s only public comment since returning, noting that “this is why” he wanted to come back.

Several current and former WWE Superstars and personnel shared their glee at Bray Wyatt’s return. Alexa Bliss simply tweeted, “Hello, old friend“, while Ricochet compared the pop for Wyatt’s comeback to that of a ‘Road Warriors pop‘. Johnny Gargano opted for a more straightforward tactic, posting a shocked GIF of himself.
T-BAR, Cathy Kelly, Mick Foley, Pat McAfee, and others all shared their sentiments for the occasion that likely won’t be forgotten for some time. A handful of Bray Wyatt-related terms also trended worldwide on social media in the aftermath, including “He’s back”.
There’s no current word on the direction for Bray Wyatt’s character in WWE, though it appears he’ll be performing solely as the Wyatt persona, rather than his Fiend alter-ego.
