On the November 11th episode of Friday Night SmackDown Sarah Logan returned to WWE television for the first time since making a surprise appearance at the 2022 Royal Rumble. Logan made her big comeback alongside The Viking Raiders.
Vignettes and promo packages had been featuring on SmackDown for a number of weeks hyping the group’s return, while Logan hasn’t featured regularly with WWE since being released back in April 2020.
Sarah Logan’s Big WWE Return Gets Fans Talking
Naturally there was plenty of chatter on social media about Logan’s return with the Viking Raiders after the trio demolished Hit Row. However, it wasn’t all a conversation that WWE might enjoy reading. Many fans were quick to point out that Logan’s look shares more than a few similarities with Max The Impaler. The star who also wrestles in face-paint and strikingly similar attire to Logan’s new look has featured for AEW, Ring of Honor and the NWA among others.

Sarah Logan made her first WWE appearance back in 2014 before becoming a permanent fixture in NXT three years later. Logan later formed part of the Riott Squad alongside Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott (Soho) on the main roster before being released by WWE in April 2020. The star did return to the company for a one-off appearance in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match.
Elsewhere on the show Braun Strowman and Santos Escobar advanced to the semi-finals of the SmackDown World Cup with wins over Jinder Mahal and Shinsuke Nakamura respectively. Shotzi also earned herself a shot at the SmackDown Women’s Title after emerging victorious from a six-pack challenge. She will meet Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series.
Meanwhile, The Usos defeated the New Day to retain their Undisputed Tag Team Championships. With the win the pair ensured they will become the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history. Their reign currently stands at 481 days, just why of the record currently held by the New Day.
