Snoop Dogg had an eventful WrestleMania 39 weekend, with the host taking part in an impromptu match against The Miz after Shane McMahon got injured.
The Hall of Famer and music star followed up his in-ring action by surprising The Undertaker backstage with incredible gifts.
Snoop and The Miz worked together as hosts for WrestleMania, with The Miz facing a surprise opponent each night.
First up was former NFL player and WWE Commentator Pat McAfee, who got the win over The Miz thanks to outside help from current NFL star George Kittle.
On night two, fans were shocked as “Here Comes The Money” blasted out in Sofi Stadium, and out came Shane McMahon, to face off against his former tag team partner.
During a fast start to the match, McMahon injured his leg and WWE had to call an audible. Snoop Dogg stepped up and delivered a punch to The Miz, before electrifying the crowd with his own version of The People’s Elbow.
Snoop also accompanied Rey Mysterio into the stadium on night one, driving a low-key ride in tribute to Eddie Guerrero.
But he was not finished there and had one more surprise planned, with WWE releasing footage of the musician approaching The Undertaker and Michelle McCool backstage.
Snoop handed each a red box, saying that he “Just wanted to get you (The Undertaker and McCool) something man and let you know you are part of the family”.
WWE In Love With A Dogg
Snoop Dogg entered into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016 after several appearances showcased his love of professional wrestling.
At WrestleMania 24, WWE placed Snoop as The Master of Ceremonies, which saw the rap legend clothesline Santino Marella before receiving a kiss from Maria Kanellis.
Snoop teamed up to pose with Hulk Hogan in the ring on Raw in 2015, and at WrestleMania 32 he accompanied his cousin Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone) to the ring, performing her entrance music.
In 2020, WWE released a Snoop Dogg-inspired collection of merchandise celebrating The Undertaker’s 30th anniversary ahead of Survivor Series.
