Well before signing with WWE, a future SmackDown Star revealed they were in attendance for Roman Reigns’ match at WrestleMania 32.
Speaking on WWE’s The Bump, the members of Hit Row were asked who their favorite wrestlers were growing up, to which Top Dolla discussed his experience in the crowd at WrestleMania 32 as Roman Reigns recaptured the WWE Championship from Triple H.
“Honestly, I’ve already said who my two favorites were growing up, but there’s video evidence of you go watch WrestleMania 32. I’m in the fourth row; I’m wearing a Roman Reigns shirt as he’s facing Triple H for the WWE title in the main event in Dallas. You can see my big bald head as clear as day behind the two of them fighting.
“So like I said, I’ve been a fan my whole life, all the way up until the day that I signed, and I’m still a fan. I mean, I’m still a fan of guys that are here. That don’t mean I can’t beat him in the fight, but I’m still a fan of them. You know what I’m saying?”
Following on, Top Dolla revealed Roman Reigns was one of his favorite wrestlers, despite Reigns receiving significant backlash from fans during his babyface push in 2016, as many weren’t ready to see him as WWE Champion.
The main event of WrestleMania 32 received similar negative reception as audible boos flooded AT&T Stadium, and the match itself was thought to be predictable and boring.
Nevertheless, Reigns’ heel run has been widely praised by fans as he enters his third year as WWE Universal Champion and is set to face Drew McIntyre at Clash At The Castle.
