It has been announced that a fan favourite match stipulation will be returning at AEW All Out.
AEW All Out is set to take place on September 4th in Chicago. Despite the show being just two weeks away the card for the pay-per-view is very much undecided with a number of top stars currently without matches.
However, a new match has now been added to the event, and it’s one that could potentially feature a number of those top stars.
On the August 19th edition of AEW Rampage it was announced that the event will feature the third-ever Casino Ladder Match. The match begins with two wrestlers in the ring, with more entering the action every 90 seconds. Once all the announced participants have entered they are joined by a Joker entrant.
The winner of the match is the wrestler who climbs to the top of the ladder to retrieve the giant casino chip hanging high above the ring. With victory the winner also guarantees themselves a shot at the AEW World Championship.
In the first edition of the match, Brian Cage emerged victorious but was defeated by then-World Champion Jon Moxley. In the most recent match on Dynamite in October 2021, Hangman Adam Page scored the win before ultimately defeating Kenny Omega to win the AEW World Championship.
At time of writing no participants have been announced for the match.
AEW All Out will also see the first-ever World Trios Champions crowned. There is currently a tournament underway to determine the new champions, with the finals set to take place in Chicago.
Elsewhere, Thunder Rosa will defend her AEW Women’s Championship against Toni Storm, while FTR and Wardlow are scheduled to take on Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt.
