Jonathan Gresham has turned to the dark side, joining Tully Blanchard Enterprises in an AEW segment due to air this Friday.
All Elite Wrestling has just about mastered the art of the babyface/heel turn, with this seemingly continuing during the tapings for the latest Rampage broadcast. As was announced, Lee Moriarty will team with Jonathan Gresham to face Tully Blanchard’s Gates of Agony.
Spoiler results from the taping, courtesy of PWInsider, indicate that ‘The Octopus’ turned on Moriarty, joining Blanchard’s stable in the process. Kaun and Toa Liona subsequently defeated Moriarty.

Ring of Honor is scheduled to host its nineteenth Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view on 23 July, with Jonathan Gresham now expected to defend the ROH World Championship against Lee Moriarty. The former Foundation member had previously been penned to face Brian Cage at the event, but they’re now aligned under the Tully Blanchard banner.
Gresham was confirmed on 15 April by Fightful Select to have signed an AEW contract. That came just one day before the second Battle of the Belts special aired; this saw Gresham defend the ROH World Championship against Dalton Castle.
AEW Rampage will air in its usual timeslot of 10pm EST on Friday, 8 July, which is a 3am BST start on the morning of Saturday, 9 July for UK fans watching via Fite TV. Eddie Kingston vs. Konosuke Takeshita and Orange Cassidy vs. Tony Nese were the other two matches confirmed for the broadcast.
