Shinsuke Nakamura Set To Face Seth Rollins At WWE Fastlane

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Seth Rollins

After clashing on the March 19th episode of SmackDown Shinsuke Nakamura is set to take on Seth Rollins at WWE Fastlane.

Following his beatdown of Cesaro on the previous week’s SmackDown, Seth Rollins came to the ring to brag about his actions. He mocked Cesaro for not embracing his vision, before going on to call him “the biggest waste of potential in WWE history” and an “abject failure.”

As Rollins continued to hammer the point home, Shinsuke Nakamura came down to the ring on behalf of his former tag team partner. Nakamura told Rollins to “shut up” teasing hitting the Kinshasa before Rollins escaped out of the ring. However, a brawl erupted between the two, and Nakamura managed to hit his signature running knee on his rival.

Also announced for WWE Fastlane, Drew McIntyre will face off against Sheamus in a No Holds Barred Match and Shane McMahon is set to tackle the ‘Monster Among Men’ Braun Strowman.

Meanwhile, Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair will attempt to put their differences aside as they challenge for the WWE Women’s Championships, before facing each other at WrestleMania.

On SmackDown, Sasha Banks defeated Nia Jax to retain her SmackDown Women’s Title after an interfering Shayna Baszler inadvertently kicked Jax in the face. Later on in the show, Bianca Belair faced Shayna Baszler but the match soon descended into chaos with Natalya and Tamina interfering.

In the Fastlane main event, Roman Reigns will defend his Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan with Edge acting as the special enforcer, after beating Jey Uso in his first match on SmackDown in ten years.
