Following his beatdown of Cesaro on the previous week’s SmackDown, Seth Rollins came to the ring to brag about his actions. He mocked Cesaro for not embracing his vision, before going on to call him “the biggest waste of potential in WWE history” and an “abject failure.”
As Rollins continued to hammer the point home, Shinsuke Nakamura came down to the ring on behalf of his former tag team partner. Nakamura told Rollins to “shut up” teasing hitting the Kinshasa before Rollins escaped out of the ring. However, a brawl erupted between the two, and Nakamura managed to hit his signature running knee on his rival.
