Shinsuke Nakamura is the new WWE United States Champion.
WWE Survivor Series started with a thriller and exciting women’s WarGames match. In the night’s first match, Rhea Ripley secured the win for her team after pinning Liv Morgan. In the following bout, fans witnessed Shinsuke Nakamura keep LA Knight down to take home the title.
After a few counters, Nakamura delivered a Kinshasa to The Megastar’s head and put a halt to his title reign at 119-days. In doing so, he finally stopped his four-year-old rough patch. At Survivor Series 2024, The King of Strong Style picked up his first PLE pinfall victory since 2020.
Nakamura’s last PLE pinfall victory was at Clash of Champions 2020, when Cesaro and Nakamura defeated Lucha House Party and defended their SmackDown Tag Team Championship.
The new Champion picked up a victory over Andrade last night on the 29th November episode of SmackDown and continued his winning streak against Knight tonight in Vancouver. With a new Champion on the cards, fans wonder what is next for SmackDown’s workhorse title.
Shinsuke Nakamura Undergoes Entrance Theme Remix
Last night during SmackDown, Shinsuke Nakamura debuted a new remixed version of his entrance theme. Still similar to his previous theme, ‘Rising Sun’, Nakamura walked the ramp with a new twist to his popular theme.
While his theme on SmackDown raked in positive reviews from the fans, the Stamford-based promotion again provided a new twist to Nakamura’s theme when he made his way to the ring at Survivor Series WarGames.
With the Championship by his waist now, is another new remix on its way?
