WWE Live Events can often provide exciting and unpredictable moments and a recent show also provided a moment of hilarity.

Sheamus hilariously trolls Drew McIntyre during WWE Live Event in Rockford

Dublin-born Sheamus and Scottish Superstar Drew McIntyre have a storied history together inside and outside of the squared circle. The pair have been friends and foes in the ring for over 10 years from their battle for the Florida Heavyweight Championship title back in 2009 to their most recent run as a team battling the likes of The Uso’s and The Viking Raiders on SmackDown.

Outside of the ring the pair have a close friendship, with McIntyre serving as best man at Sheamus’ recent wedding whilst McIntyre revealed that the Irishman was influential in his recent move from Florida to Tennessee:

“Well, that nemesis / friend / nemesis of mine, Sheamus, has been living there for years. He’s been prodding away at me. ‘You’ve gotta move here.’ It’s a change of pace. We’ve lived in Florida for over ten years. It’s got the forest, the greenery; it has similarities to Ireland and Scotland. Also my wife is from West Virginia, so he kept prodding at her once I said, ‘I don’t want to move. It’s too annoying to move.’ Finally she got the final vote, we moved. I love it”

It is clear that the pair enjoy working together and their friendship is perhaps even more evident at the more relaxed WWE Live Events. At a recent show in Rockford, Illinois, Sheamus would cause hilarity by cheekily lifting McIntyre’s kilt whilst he was stood on the turnbuckle.

The duo were making their entrance alongside Braun Strowman for a battle with The Bloodline at the event but before battle would commence Sheamus’ actions would raise a chuckle with even ‘The Monster Among Men’ seeing the funny side.

The trio would not be smiling at the end of the evening, however, after going on to lose the bout with The Uso’s and Solo SIkoa.
