Sheamus “Tired Of Asking” For Frequent WWE Fan Request

AEW Star Reveals Why He Wants To Fight WWE Star Sheamus:

Sheamus has tried his best to make a change WWE fans have been asking for.

For years, the Celtic Warrior used ‘Written In My Face’ as his entrance theme. Eventually, the track became a meme as fans began subtly altering the lyrics from “It’s a shame for the lost their head,” to “It’s a shameful thing, lobster head,” and “Too many lies,” to “Too many limes.”

After switching it to a theme with no lyrics, Sheamus brought his original song back for his return in April 2024, although it was a short-lived comeback for the track as it was changed again that July.

Speaking about ‘Written In My Face’ during an interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, The star says he noticed the meme as far back as 2010 and admitted he still wants to bring it back.

“Maybe 2010. People are very creative on the internet, very creative. I do miss that song, though. A lot of people were upset. I brought it back, but I wasn’t allowed to keep it.”

However, as much as he’s tried, the former WWE Champion is now “tired of asking” to bring the theme back again.

“I don’t know. Do you want to ask? You go ask. I’m tired of asking. I’m all out of asking.”

Sheamus Clears Up Longstanding Rumour

During the same interview, Sheamus cleared up the misconception that he was the bodyguard for U2 singer Bono. Instead, the star worked in a nightclub Bono frequented and made sure the music legend “didn’t get his head wrecked.”

In a new interview, Sheamus explained why he will never let up on his hard-hitting in-ring style.
