Sheamus WWE Raw

Sheamus flaunts his new scars.

The first two-hour Raw episode after almost 12 years began and finished with a bang. The night began with CM Punk announcing his hiatus and continued with Jey Uso’s first successful television title defense, and was followed by a violent match between Sheamus and Pete Dunne. The show concluded with Gunther’s victory over Sami Zayn.

While every segment had its unique charm, the Donnybrook match between Sheamus and Dunne left the fans on the edge of their seats. Both the men induced violent attacks upon one another. From whiskey barrels to tables and even cricket bats, no object was left unused to inflict pain.

However, to conclude the former World Champion secured the victory despite his zip-tied hands. Soon after, The Celtic Warrior shared a nasty and brutal image on X (Twitter) flaunting his newly acquired scars. He stated:

BUTCH IS DEAD. LONG LIVE PETE DUNNE.

Despite his back full of red welts, the former Champion made sure to acknowledge his opponent and the fight he put forward. Following Bad Blood’s violent bout between Punk and Drew McIntyre, the former Brawling Brutes members showcased their ruthless side.

Triple H Wants To Host A Future WWE PLE At This Special Location

At the Bad Blood post-show press conference, Triple H shared his interest in hosting a future WWE PLE at the Sphere in Las Vegas. After UFC 306 successfully conducted their event there, The Game shared his thoughts on hosting one themselves as well.

I look at our partners at TKO and I see what Dana is doing. They’re just crushing it. I see stuff at The Sphere and I look at that production and I’m like, ‘I want to do that.’ It’s a lot of fun. It’s amazing to watch them do what they do and the level they do it. Nothing like them in the world.”

On the same night after Bad Blood, at the UFC 307 press conference, Dana White offered to help the Stamford-based promotion.

In other news: CM Punk has seemingly announced his hiatus from WWE.
