Sheamus Shares Photo Update On His Broken Nose

Sheamus

On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Sheamus sustained a broken nose at the hands of Humberto Carrillio.

During the match, Sheamus was on the receiving end of a stiff forearm to the face that is believed to have caused the gruesome injury.

A match between the two men had to be stopped on the 10th of May edition of Raw after Carrillo suffered an apparent leg injury after performing a sunset flip powerbomb on Sheamus to the floor. During their latest bout, Sheamus was able to continue the match after the injury occurred but he lost to Carrillo for the first time since the two men became embroiled in their feud.

The defeat to Carrillo will be doubly difficult for the current WWE United States Champion to swallow. That defeat for the Irishman came immediately after Ricochet beat him in just over one minute.

In a new post on social media, the Celtic Warrior showed off his now repaired nose.

Sheamus has held the United States Championship since defeating Riddle at WrestleMania 37.

Also on RAW, Drew McIntyre earned the right to face WWE Champion Bobby Lashley at Hell In A Cell.

McIntyre overcame Kofi Kingston in the main event to set up another clash with Lashley.

The match was everything that you would expect between the pair as they threw everything but the kitchen sink at each other. The Scot finally picked up the win intercepting Kingston with a Claymore as he came off the top rope.

McIntyre most recently challenged for the belt in a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania Backlash. This was after he had failed to recapture the title at WrestleMania 37.
