Sheamus has staked a claim to having the greatest finisher in history after he used his Brogue Kick to put away Imperium at Extreme Rules.
The issues between GUNTHER and Sheamus and their respective groups continued into Extreme Rules in a barnburner of a Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook match. The two leaders of each group had previously met in a critically-acclaimed Clash at the Castle bout and again on Friday Night SmackDown before Extreme Rules where many felt the Irish star was robbed of the Intercontinental Championship.
At Extreme Rules in Philadelphia, Imperium and The Brawling Brutes set the tone for the evening with a frenetic six-man brawl that saw barrels and bar tops used – but ultimately nothing could top a Brogue Kick. The former WWE Champion nailed Giovanni Vinci with the wicked pump kick to pick up the win for his team.
Taking to social media, Sheamus made the claim that his move is among the very best of all time as he wrote:
“The greatest finisher in the history of professional combat. Fella. #brogue“

Sheamus has used the patented kick for much of his WWE career. Perhaps his most famous Brogue Kick came in his WrestleMania 28 bout with Daniel Bryan when the kick was the only move of the match and enough to win him the World Heavyweight Championship in just 18 seconds.
