Former WWE Superstar Zelina Vega has revealed how Becky Lynch “was really there for her” following her WWE release.
Answering a question as part of an Instagram Q&A via Stories on her personal account, Thea Trinidad – known as Zelina Vega in WWE – opened up about her friendship with the former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Trinidad was released from her WWE contract in November 2020, but has revealed that the then-heavily-pregnant Becky Lynch was really there for her, saying “I’ll always appreciate her” in response to a fan asking about their friendship.
Following her release, Trinidad posted on social media, “See you on Twitch,” and has been back on the platform – where she spoke of being “heartbroken” at her release. SAG-AFTRA has since confirmed having “powerful” conversations with Trinidad.
“I’m sad and I’m completely heartbroken. Obviously, this isn’t the last that you are gonna see of me… I love you all, though, and I’m really really thankful to every single one of you. If I go down as someone who stood up for themselves, so be it. I’m still thankful, I’m not angry. I’m just heartbroken because doing this, being a wrestler, is all I ever wanted to do. I don’t really know what to say. There’s so many things I want to say but I don’t know how.”
Meanwhile, shortly after Trinidad’s release, Becky Lynch would give birth to baby Roux – the first-born child of the former RAW Women’s Champion and former WWE Champion Seth Rollins. There is no scheduled return date for Seth Rollins nor Becky Lynch at this time.
