Fan art parodying Marvel artist Jen Bartel’s “Thirsty She-Hulk” features AEW stars Jade Cargill and Danhausen.
Anticipation has been building for Marvel’s new Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which stars Tatiana Maslany as the titular character, an attorney named Jennifer Walters. The series is set to premiere on August 17th.
On May 17th, Disney+ released a trailer to provide fans with a first look at the series. The trailer introduces fans to Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who is related to Bruce Banner. In Marvel Comics, she is Bruce Banner’s cousin who receives a milder version of the Hulk’s powers after receiving a blood transfusion, though it’s unclear at this point how closely the series will follow the canon of the comics.
The trailer goes on to detail Walters coming to terms with her powers and trying to navigate her life, despite not wanting to be labeled a superhero.
The end of the trailer shows Walters going on a series of dates with various men, one of whom is former Nexus member David Otunga. One date seems to go particularly well for the genetically altered lawyer and she can be seen carrying the gentleman to her bedroom.
Marvel artist Jen Bartel recreated this scene on her website and invited fans to edit the scene with anyone in the position of the man being carried. However, artist Mel Coleman took the instruction even further and re-drew the entire scene, crediting Bartel with the original idea. In Coleman’s version, Jade Cargill plays the role of She-Hulk and the very nice, very evil Danhausen is in the position of her date. The image was posted on Coleman’s social media.
