One half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler was this weeks guest on the After The Bell podcast.
Speaking to Corey Graves, the former two time NXT Women’s Champion talked about her move to Raw, the now infamous biting angle and wrestling former Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36.
Explaining to Graves about how the lack of crowd at the showcase of the immortals may have worked in her favour, Baszler said:
“It’s just hard. There is a magic that’s missed about it not being eighty thousand people and a roaring crowd and all that. At the same time I talked about a different style of wrestling that I have. I think in some ways it was a blessing to have that big moment of mine first before whatever big moment came next because I think having an empty sort of arena and a camera. There’s some things that I do in the ring that person in the stands way up in the rafters doesn’t see.”
Shayna would conclude the interview by expressing her desire to still have that WrestleMania moment. Stating that she wants to challenge for a title no matter who happens to be champion but at a “real” WrestleMania this time round.
