Sharmell, who many fans will remember for her escapades with husband Booker T is the latest name to be confirmed for the 2022 WWE Hall Of Fame.
Sharmell won 1991 the Miss Black America Pageant at age 20 but her rise to wrestling prominence came in World Championship Wrestling where she performed as one of the famous Nitro Girls. Known initially as Storm, it was under the name of Paisley that Sharmell began competing in the ring for WCW in 2000.
The star is best known, however, for her work with her husband and two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T in WWE and later TNA. Sharmell became a Queen when Booker T won the 2006 King Of The Ring and she had no reservations about helping her King become World Heavyweight Champion in the same year.
The WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony will take place on April 1st in the American Airlines Center in Dallas as part of the celebrations that go along with WrestleMania. As the ceremony will take place after SmackDown, a report has suggested that some inductions could be done digitally.
