Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 39

At WrestleMania 39, Shane McMahon made a surprise appearance to challenge The Miz to a match. However, things went horribly wrong for the son of the WWE Chairman when he landed awkwardly from a Leapfrog.

McMahon was attended to by medics before being helped out of the arena. At the post-show press conference, Triple H revealed that Shane had suffered a torn quad. In the days after the injury, McMahon underwent surgery to repair the damage.

In recent weeks, he has been sharing updates on his rehab progress and has been able to return to the gym, albeit wearing a leg brace to stabilise his leg.

In a new series of videos posted to social media, McMahon has given a glimpse of the injury as he had to remove the brace to receive one of the treatments he has been undergoing. You can see the videos below, remember to scroll through to see all three.

Despite only appearing for the company once in 2022 and his Royal Rumble appearance barely lasting under six minutes, Shane McMahon earned an astounding $828,000 for his services.

The show went on without Shane McMahon

Shane McMahon’s injury gave way to one of the wildest segments in WrestleMania history as The Miz’s fellow host, Snoop Dogg, unexpectedly took control of the situation.

The megastar decided to take on Miz himself and, with some direction from the referee, threw some punches at the A-Lister to the delight of the audience. He then finished things off by delivering his own memorable version of The People’s Elbow for the pinfall victory.
