Shane McMahon Makes First WWE Appearance Since WrestleMania 37

Shane McMahon

It was a case of here is the money as Shane McMahon made a shock WWE appearance for the first time since he competed at WrestleMania 37.

At WrestleMania inside the Raymond James Stadium back in April 2021, Shane McMahon got his comeuppance when he went one on one with The Monster Among Men Braun Strowman inside a solid steel cage.

McMahon had berated and goaded Strowman for weeks so few felt sorry for McMahon as Strowman threw Shane McMahon from the top of the cage back into the ring on the way to ultimately defeating the former European Champion.

Since then Shane McMahon has not been seen on WWE television until now. WWE Hall Of Famer The Godfather was a guest on WWE’s The Bump when McMahon made a surprise appearance to catch up with the conductor of the Ho Train.

The appearance also caught hosts Kayla Braxton and Matt Camp on the hop as McMahon apologised for “busting the set” to greet his old friend.

Back in August Shane McMahon was named as the Executive Chairman of Ideanomics, a company that he has been associated with since 2010.

Ideanomics describe themselves as follows:

“Ideanomics is a global company that is driving the sustainability transformation. We are a catalyst for disruption to those industries where improvements in sustainability, transparency, and freedom of choice would have profound benefits on a global scale.”
