Shane McMahon recently took a trip down memory lane and was moved to ask if WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan could lace up his boots one more time.
McMahon shared some photos on social media from his return to Madison Square Garden, the spiritual home of WWE. Rather than wrestling business, Shane McMahon was taking in a New York Rangers hockey game with his three sons but a wander around the halls of The World’s Most Famous Arena clearly left Shane feeling nostalgic.
Wrestling is never far from thought in The Garden and McMahon’s photos showed the display that highlights Hulk Hogan and the original WrestleMania, which was held in MSG.
McMahon accompanied his photos with a question for The Immortal one – “got one more in ya?”

On March 31st, 1985, Hulk Hogan competed in the first of his eight WrestleMania main events as he teamed with Mr. T to defeat Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. Almost 27 years after that Hogan had his last wrestling bout as part of TNA, with injuries piling up and age bowing to nobody, The Hulkster was forced to step away from the ring.
Hulk Hogan might not be lacing up his boots again any time soon, but somebody even closer to Shane McMahon could be come WrestleMania 38. It is believed that Vince McMahon will be involved in a match with SmackDown announcer and former NFL star Pat McAfee.
Shane McMahon’s own status with WWE is somewhat up in the air following his controversial appearance at the Royal Rumble. McMahon was reported to have upset stars such as Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton which led to subsequent plans for him to compete on The Grandest Stage Of Them All dropped.
