In one of the most surreal moments in WWE history, Shane McMahon returned to WWE, and then promptly got injured.
The chaos started with The Miz and Snoop Dogg announcing the attendance before Miz called out the Hip Hop Superstar for making him wrestle Pat McAfee 24 hours earlier.
Snoop offered half an apology, but Miz wasn’t having it, leading Snoop to unveil his next secret weapon. Shane McMahon.
Shane McMahon hadn’t been seen in WWE since the 2022 Royal Rumble, shortly after which it was reported he had left the company.
Shane McMahon Injured
Entering to a huge ovation, McMahon made his way to the ring before cutting a promo thanking fans for their reception. Under orders from Snoop, a referee was then brought into the ring, and a match got underway.
However, just seconds into the action McMahon attempted a leapfrog but landed awkwardly. This sparked a bizarre scene where a medic attended to McMahon while the camera stayed on Miz. As uncertainty reigned, Snoop took matters into his own hands.
The Hip-Hop legend drilled Miz with two right hands, before landing his version of a People’s Elbow to end a segment that will be remembered for years to come.

Despite only featuring once in 2022, Shane McMahon was paid a remarkable $828,000 for his services.
After being absent since WrestleMania 37, McMahon made a surprise appearance in the 2022 men’s Royal Rumble Match. The star entered the match at number 28 and made it to the final three before being eliminated by eventual winner Brock Lesnar. In total, McMahon was in the ring for five minutes and 38 seconds.
