A new report has claimed that there has been a “feeling out process” involving a number of ex-WWE stars regarding a return to the company.
On the August 5th episode of Friday Night SmackDown Karrion Kross and Scarlett made surprise appearances to close the show. The pair, who had been released by WWE back in November got involved in the main event segment between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre, with Kross attacking the Scottish star.
Interestingly, Scarlett was back by the side of her real-life partner after the pair had been split up during Kross’ unsuccessful spell on the main roster in the summer of 2021.
The former NXT Champion and Scarlett join Dakota Kai in returning to the company since Triple H has taken over as Head of Creative on July 25th. The Game also moved Io Shirai (Iyo Sky) to the main roster when it appeared that she was set to leave the sports entertainment giant.
Meanwhile, a new report has hinted that more familiar faces could be on their way back to WWE.
The report from Fightful Select suggests that Triple H will continue to be aggressive as he shapes WWE’s talent roster. Much like the return of Dakota Kai at SummerSlam, the arrivals of Karrion Kross and Scarlett came together extremely quickly. Kross had been in action as recently as July 31st when he defeated Davey Boy Smith Jr on the undercard of Ric Flair’s last match.
Furthermore, the Fightful add that “several other talent have been discussed for returns” and that a “feeling out process” has occurred.
In closing the report notes that numerous talent meetings have already taken place, during a “busy first week.”
