Several NXT UK Stars Set For NXT 2.0 Excursion

NXT UK

A number of NXT UK stars are reportedly set to head stateside in the coming weeks.

Ever since the change from Black and Gold to NXT 2.0, several NXT UK wrestlers have made the move to the US branch with the likes of Nathan Frazer, Pretty Deadly and Axiom (formerly known as A-Kid) as the most recent ones.

A report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider indicates more names will be coming to the States in the near future. The names currently being discussed are Charlie Dempsey and members of Gallus, Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang. At the moment, they are expected to make their 2.0 debut next month.

Dempsey, Joe Coffey and Wolfgang are currently scheduled to take part in the tournament to crown a new NXT UK champion, after Ilja Dragunov was forced to vacate the belt. On August 11th, Dempsey and Wolfgang will take on Oliver Carter and Trent Seven, respectively.

Gallus have been part of NXT UK since its inception in 2018. Mark and Wolfgang are former NXT UK tag team champions and Mark is the current Heritage Cup champion.

Charlie Dempsey, William Regal’s son, joined the UK Performance Center in early 2021, making his on-screen debut later that year. Dempsey is currently part of Teoman’s Die Familie faction and has picked up victories over the likes of A-Kid, Wolfgang and Joe Coffey.
