Seth Rollins Pays Tribute To Brodie Lee.
Following an unsuccessful United States Championship match against champion Austin Theory, Rollins would speak to the WWE universe, touching on his love for the late, great Brodie Lee.
“He passed away a couple of years ago around this time and this is the first time I’ve been here with a microphone in my hand in this city to tell him how much I miss him and how much I love him.”
‘The Messiah’ would continue referencing the former Luke Harper’s signature Twitter catchphrase that has since become synonymous with AEW Dynamite… “It’s Wednesday, You Know What That Means.”
“I just wanted to say tonight was for him, every time we are in Rochester, in my heart, that means we’re here for him. It’s Saturday, and you know what that means, so do your damn thing and sing my song.”

Brodie Lee was a beloved performer with successful runs in WWE, AEW, ROH & Chikara, amongst many others, his life was tragically cut short on December 26 2020 when he passed away due to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
The leader of the Dark Order’s legacy can be seen and felt across all of social media with performers such as Big E, Bray Wyatt, Erik Redbeard, Xavier Woods and more reaching out via social media to tell stories of a man who was not only an incredible performer but by all accounts an incredible man and wonderful father.
Seth Rollins would lose his WWE United States Championship during the Survivor Series PLE in a Triple Threat Match against former United States Champions Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory when the latter would capitalise on a monster Spear from Lashley to steal the win and the iconic belt in the process.
