On January 28th, 30 WWE Superstars will get a chance to stamp their ticket for WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles, California.
One man who has already thrown his hat in the ring for the men’s Rumble match is Seth Rollins. The star made the announcement on the January 9th edition of Raw after interrupting Austin Theory, who was making disparaging comments about The Visionary.
After Theory announced his next move was to enter the Royal Rumble and go on to WrestleMania, Rollins informed him he would also be in the match. The pair were then interrupted by a returning Bobby Lashley, who made his own intentions clear by attacking Theory and throwing him over the top rope.
Meanwhile, on the women’s side of things, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Rhea Ripley, and Candice LeRae have all announced themselves for the 30-person bout.
Seth Rollins back Becky Lynch to win the 2023 Royal Rumble
“My pick to the women’s Royal Rumble match is none other than ‘The Man’ Beck Lynch”
“Becky Lynch vs whoever she wants is going to be a WrestleMania main event.”
If Lynch was able to win the match, she would make history as the first woman to ever achieve the feat twice having won the 2019 edition of the annual spectacular.
Rollins also predicted what would happen to the company in 2023, saying it would continue to lead in sports and entertainment thanks to him.
“WWE in 2023 will continue to be the leader in all things sports and entertainment because of moi, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.”
