Seth Rollins Versus CM Punk Announced For Raw 10/03; Special Stipulation Added

CM Punk:

Seth Rollins vs CM Punk has officially been announced.

The 3rd March episode of Raw began with an extremely energetic and enthusiastic promo by Punk. Reacting to his Elimination Chamber loss, Punk called out John Cena, and The Rock, warning them of future repercussions before switching his focus on Rollins.

Rollins cost Punk his Elimination Chamber match after stomping him outside the ring, allowing Cena to lock The Second City Saint in the most-dangerous looking STF ever. While Punk laid out warnings for Rollins, The Visionary made his presence felt.

The two soon engaged in a brawl around the entire arena. Fighting through the wrestling ring, to the crowd, and even backstage, both Rollins and Punk’s hatred for each other became visible on television. Frustrated with how things were going, the Raw general manager Adam Pearce announced a grudge match between them.

On the 10th March episode of Raw, CM Punk is now scheduled to face Seth Rollins in a steel cage match at the Madison Square Garden. With already things tense between the two, fans at the MSG can expect the situation to get more heated next week.

Hall Of Famer Kevin Nash Offers A Piece Of Advice To Seth Rollins

Praising Rollins’ February 24th Raw promo segment against Punk, Hall of Famer Kevin Nash, had some advice for Seth Rollins. Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Nash asked The Visionary to drop his ‘character’ and instead act like his real self.

“I thought Rollins and Cody had a good promo segment. I like when Rollins is Rollins, not Rollins with the fucking [mimics Rollins’ laugh]. Don’t be a character, just be you. You’ve been around long enough. Just watch Phil [CM Punk]. Watch Phil in the opening segment. Punk’s just Punk. He’s not playing a fucking wrestling guy. [Rollins] was obviously more entertaining in that segment to me than he was…if you’re gonna wear that outfit, please be real. Don’t be fucking on top of that something else.”

In other news: Drew McIntyre has revived The Rock’s 14-year-old dig against CM Punk.

In a new interview, Seth Rollins explained why WWE is so much better compared to when he first debuted.
